Pieper Memorial is a state of the art specialty and emergency veterinary facility located in Middletown, CT with a second 24-hour emergency hospital now in Essex, CT. We are dedicated to supporting your primary care veterinarian, offering 24-hour emergency care and advanced specialty services including surgery, neurology, internal medicine, oncology, diagnostic imaging, dentistry and physical therapy.

Breaking Ground!

If you drive by our Middletown offices you may notice we are undergoing construction! It’s just a pile of dirt now but it is destined to become state of the art surgical suites with 10 surgery tables, several classrooms and a cafeteria and lockers for the staff. Meet Internal Medicine Specialist – Dr. Carolyn Gross!

We’re excited to welcome our Dr. Carolyn Gross DCVIM, our new Internal Medicine Specialist to the Pieper Memorial team. Dr. Gross stared with us in July 2015 and is available for appointments Monday – Friday. She has a special interest in endocrine diseases (Diabetes Mellitus, Cushing’s Disease, Addison’s Disease, and Thyroid Disorders) as well as kidney and liver disease.
