Dr. Sean Freer

Dr. Sean Freer earned his veterinary degree from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, New York, in 2005. He completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency care at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. He then returned to Cornell for his residency in diagnostic imaging and received his board-certification in 2009. He joins Pieper Memorial after spending two years as the radiologist at the Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey.

Dr. Freer offers traditional and advanced imaging services including radiography, ultrasonography and ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). His special interests include vascular ultrasonographic and CT imaging.

Pieper Memorial and Dr. Freer are excited to be able to provide area veterinarians with two convenient ultrasound choices to offer their clients.  We offer “while your client waits” ultrasounds which may be scheduled Monday through Friday. If they prefer, your clients may instead select our ultrasound “drop-off” service. On site CT and MRI allows for the scheduling of daily scans. Unsure of which imaging modality is the best fit for your patient? Dr. Freer encourages inquiries to help determine the best (and most cost effective) imaging solution for your patient. He may be reached at (860) 347-VETS (8387) or via email at sfreer@piepermemorial.com  Digital and traditional film reading services are also available.
